The idea for the software came from talking to roaster friends talking about work. We started asking more roasters about problems they have running their businesses. The same problems came up over and over and themes emerged. Wholesale order processing and prioritisation, roasting schedules, and production schedules all take a lot of time.
Running a roastery is hard work.
As a coffee roaster, managing wholesale orders can be a challenging and time-consuming task. With your orders coming in through various channels, including email, WhatsApp, phone calls and even social media, it can be difficult to keep track of everything and ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. In other words, it’s hell!
Sustainability is a significant and vague word. Most roasteries strive to be more sustainable, from using renewable energy and reducing plastic and packaging to offsetting and planting trees. Today I want specifically to talk about waste.
We’re excited to inform you that we are changing our company’s name to Bean Mind.
All roasteries keep inventory; this includes raw materials, work-in-progress, supplies used in operations, and finished goods.
